Bakey is a fun unique spot in Kendal Square. The babka are $6.50 per a slice. The price point is a splurge treat! I got chocolate babka. It was soft, rich, and delicious!

Fun new spot in Cambridge. Delicious babkas, bright airy seating, and friendly service. We tried the Boston Cream Babka and it was heavenly. We first try the sandwiches but they looked super fresh - had we been ready for lunch, we would have tried one of those too. Next time!!

The chocolate babka took me to another dimension. Just the right blend of soft and crunchy textures in one delicious, melt-in-your-mouth experience. Paired with a fresh latte, it was sublime. Absolutely exquisite and unforgettable!

Absolute fave food in Kendall! I actually love the non-babka items: chocolate croissant is so good and I like the bagel -- it's super soft, not like a traditional one.

Very friendly, food is made fresh EVERYDAY. I personally have tried everything they have yet but the cookies, chocolate croissant, chai, (had a seasonal jasmine chai that was SOOO good, sadly it’s gone) but it’s wonderful here. I would say it’s a bit pricey just keep that in mind.

It was a quiet morning but the atmosphere was still amazing and so were the pastries!!! Coffee was a bit of a let down but the rest was amazing!!! Highly recommend.

A bakery where craftsmanship is visible before the first bite, because the display already signals that the team cares about texture, finish, and restraint. The laminated pastries show real technical control, with crisp outer layers giving way to a light, airy interior, and the fillings are balanced enough to let the dough still matter. Their babkas are especially gorgeous: babka is a rich, braided yeast bread of Eastern European Jewish origin, traditionally filled with chocolate or cinnamon, baked so that each slice pulls apart into soft, ribboned strands with caramelized edges. Here, that contrast between tender crumb and slightly crisp exterior is handled with precision. The ingredients taste high quality, and the value is not just in the price but in the sourcing, preparation, and plating, with each item looking carefully finished rather than mass-produced. A real stamp of excellence is the La Marzocco coffee machine and the fact that espresso is served in actual ceramic tazzine, a small but telling detail that says a lot about standards. Service is efficient and calm, and the room has a clean, modern energy that works well whether you are grabbing something quickly or pausing with coffee. Items are consistently served at the right temperature, which helps both aroma and texture come through clearly. Best move: go mid-morning for the strongest selection, especially if you want first choice of the babkas.

Very good food. They have all types of babkas. I especially love their almond babkas. And their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Try it out. You will not regret it.

Bakery! Specialty is Babka based sweet things. Banana, chocolate pecan is awesome! For those who visit from the UK it has a Gail's type vibe, similar in quality for pastries, coffee not quite as good but still better than average.

The smell of this place enticed me as I was walking down the street, so I said to myself had to try it. The ambiance is lovely, the people who work here are kind and helpful, and my babka was so delicious! Would definitely recommend 10/10
